Best of Alaska and Canada

Our 16-Day Best of Alaska and Canada Adventure begins in Canada's Banff National Park and ends in Anchorage, Alaska (alternate trips begin in Anchorage and end in Banff). Attractions of the trip include:

  • Banff National Park and Jasper National Park, featuring Lake Louise, The Icefields Parkway, and Lake Maligne.
  • The Glacier Highway, Bear Glacier and the Bear Viewing station at Fish Creek at Hyder, Alaska
  • A visit to the North American motorcycling "mecca" of Hyder, Alaska
  • A ride to 4,300 feet in the Misty Fjord National Monument to view the Salmon Glacier - the 5th largest glacier in North America
  • The Cassier Highway through the Coast Mountains - the most scenic route to Alaska
  • The "Signpost Forest" at Watson Lake, Yukon Territory
  • The Top of the World Highway from Dawson, Yukon Territory to Tok Junction
  • An optional ride to the Arctic Circle
  • Denali National Park

Arrival/Departure
The Start Date of the trip is an "arrival" day and there is no riding. In the afternoon, riders are provided their motorcycles so that they may become accustomed to them and make minor adjustments. In the evening, there is a kickoff meeting and a kickoff dinner. Riding begins on the day following the "Start Date".

The End Date is not a riding day, but is the date when riders are expected to depart for home, and they may schedule departing flights at any time on the End Date.
