- Free days in Whitehorse (Canada's Yukon Territory) and Fairbanks (Alaska) provide opportunities for optional flight-seeing, wildlife viewing, gold panning, and other activities.
- In Whitehorse, admittance to the Frantic Follies - a popular vaudeville revue which depicts the entertainment seen by the pioneers of the Great Klondike Gold Rush of 1898.
- The free day in Fairbanks provides the opportunity for an optional side trip to the Arctic Circle (partially unpaved), including a ride along the Alaska Pipeline.
- An overnight stay at Denali National Park, with the option to take a tour of the park.
- A virtual guarantee to see bear, moose, caribou, elk, and other wildlife.

Day 1: Arrival in Anchorage. Airport transfer, motorcycle handover, kickoff meeting and our first dinner together!

Day 2: Anchorage to Copper Center (~195 miles, 315 kilometers). Ride the stunning Palmer Highway to Copper Center.
Highlights: One of Alaska's most scenic highways, opportunity to walk on the Matanuska Glacier (the largest North American glacier that's accessible by motorcycle).

Day 3: Copper Center to Tok (~150 miles, 240 kilometers).
Highlights: Ride the Richardson Highway to Tok. The Richardson Highway is the longest highway in Alaska and is also one of the most scenic. Prepare for game sightings along the way, and accommodations and dinner at the best hotel in Tok.

Day 4: Tok to Dawson City, the Yukon (~185 miles, 300 kilometers). Ride the World Famous "Top of the World Highway" to Dawson City - the Yukon!
Highlights: The small mining community of Chicken, Poker Creek (the northernmost border crossing point in the USA), Top of the World Highway, ferry crossing of the Yukon River, Klondike Gold Rush town of Dawson City, and a Sourtoe cocktail.

Day 5: Dawson City to Whitehorse (~330 miles, 525 kilometers). Ride the Klondike Highway to Whitehorse
Highlights: The ride on the Klondike Highway will provide stunning photo opportunities and the possibility of game viewing. The evening entertainment will include a local favorite: The Frantic Follies. This turn of the century vaudeville review depicts the entertainment seen by the pioneers of the Great Klondike Gold Rush of 1868.

Day 6: Rest Day in Whitehorse. Relax in town, do some additional riding, or sign up for some local attractions
Highlights: Whitehorse is the capital of the Yukon and offers a variety of Klondike Area attractions, including flight-seeing tours, gold-panning opportunities, and a popular railroad trip. The town also has a wide variety of shopping opportunities as well as charming cafes and restaurants.

Day 7: Whitehorse, Yukon Territory to Skagway, Alaska (~ 120 miles, 200 kilometers).
Highlights: A beautiful ride through Yukon Territory, cross into British Columbia, cross back into Alaska

Day 8: Skagway, Alaska to Beaver Creek, Yukon Territory (~ 330 miles, 530 kilometers).
Highlights: Today’s ride is relatively long and includes a brief ferry crossing from Skagway to Haines. The terrain is truly remote but very beautiful with wildlife sightings likely.

Day 9:Beaver Creek to Fairbanks, Alaska (~ 315 miles, 510 kilometers).
Highlights: Prepare for some of Alaska's most stunning scenery. You’ll pas back through Tok on your way to Fairbanks. You may wish to stop to send a few postcards postmarked “The North Pole” shortly before reaching Fairbanks. Prepare too for an unusual resort tonight, and it's NOT a Westmark!

Day 10: Free Day in Fairbanks
Highlights: It's a full day's ride (but totally "doable") to ride to the Arctic Circle. Riders not wishing to spend the day in the saddle can choose from a wide variety of other interesting entertainment opportunities in Fairbanks.

Day 11: Fairbanks to Denali ( ~ 125 miles, 200 kilometers). Ride the stunning Parks Highway to Denali
Highlights: Stunning views and many scenic overlooks on the way to Denali. Weather permitting, you may have the opportunity to see and photograph Mt. McKinley - North America's highest mountain.

Day 12: Denali to Anchorage ( ~ 240 miles, 390 kilometers). Ride the Parks Highway to Anchorage.
Highlights: Take a brief tour of Denali National Park before heading down the incredibly beautiful Parks Highway. Stop for final "killer" photo opportunities and wildlife sightings long the way.

Except for approximately 100 miles of good, hard packed gravel on the Top of the World Highway, the route is entirely paved and offers a variety of road features. Riders wishing to do an optional trip to the Arctic Circle will ride on some good, hard-packed gravel as well. Expected wildlife sightings include bear, moose, elk, the Bald Eagle, wild sheep and goats and much more. |

Arrival/Departure
The Start Date of the trip is an "arrival" day and there is no riding. In the afternoon, riders are provided their motorcycles so that they may become accustomed to them and make minor adjustments. In the evening, there is a kickoff meeting and a kickoff dinner. Riding begins on the day following the "Start Date".
The End Date is not a riding day, but is the date when riders are expected to depart for home, and they may schedule departing flights at any time on the End Date.
