Our 8-day Alpine Adventure is one of the most outstanding trips in our "Peaks of Europe" series. The Adventure begins in Munich with a selection of a late model motorcycle from the full BMW line. Accommodations include luxury spa resorts in the Stelvio National Park and in St. Moritz. Dining will be a la carte, with many dinners in intimate, upscale restaurants. You will never be presented with a limited-choice, “tourist” menu on any of our tours, and non-alcoholic beverages are always included with your meal.
The size of the tour group will be limited to about ten motorcycles, making it possible for us to enjoy the smaller, more intimate lodging and dining that distinguish our Adventures. The Alpine Adventure is not designed for the masses.
The itinerary includes the Bavarian Alps, the Italian Dolomites, a rest day in St. Moritz, the smallest country in the world (Liechtenstein) and the most famous motorcycle pass in all of Europe – Stelvio. The pass has more than 40 very sharp hairpin turns on each side. The scenery is indescribable – it must be seen to be believed. We'll stop at the top of the Stelvio for photos and a refreshing hot drink at one of the snack bars or restaurants. |

Day 1: Arrival in Munich, Airport transfer, motorcycle handover, kickoff meeting and our first dinner together! Riders arriving early can visit the BMW museum, a close by beer garden or do some sightseeing in downtown Munich.

Day 2: Munich, Germany – St. Ulrich (~310 kilometers). Ride through northeast Bavaria and the Bavarian Forest and on to the high mountains. We'll spend the afternoon in the Dolomites, center and most spectacular part of the Alps |

Day 3: St. Ulrich to Merano (~250 kilometers). The Dolomites feature countless mountain passes through breathtaking scenery. You'll love this this charming Italian city, with more mountain passes just outside of your hotel.

Day 4: Merano - St. Moritz, Switzerland (~250 kilometers)
Paso di Stelvio, Italy’s highest pass road, is waiting for us with its almost 100 hairpin turns! And the mountains around St. Moritz are not really a “chill down”… After this day we earned a night in another luxurious 5 star wellness & spa hotel! |

Day 5: Rest Day in St. Moritz – one of the most famous towns in Switzerland. St. Moritz is renowned for beautiful landscapes, high fashion, fine cuisine and great hospitality. Chances are you’ll have a great day in St. Moritz, as the sun shines an average of 322 days per year. |

Day 6: St. Moritz - Warth, Austria (~260 kilometers)
Leaving Switzerland we cross Liechtenstein, one of the smallest European countries and climb back up into Austria; the colorful village of Warth welcomes us with another alpine style hotel in the middle of the mountains. |

Day 7: Warth - Munich (~220 kilometers)
Leaving the Alps we pass by the famous King Ludwig Castle Neuschwanstein and arrive back in Munich. |

The route is entirely paved but includes some challenging sections, particularly in the mountains and while passing through small towns. The tour is best done by experienced riders. |
